A note about IOI 2015 tasks

According to the ISC, the problem set selected for IOI 2015 would be appropriate under each of the two most recent revisions of the Syllabus (i.e., both the 2013 and the 2015 revision).

In particular, this means that:

• The intended solutions of all tasks do not use material that is Explicitly excluded in the 2013 revision.
• Additionally, topics that are Explicitly excluded in the 2015 revision should not lead to conceptually simpler and/or better-scoring solutions.

However, note that the problem set may still contain an appropriate amount of topics that are classified as Out of scope in either or both revisions of the Syllabus, but are not listed as Excluded in either.

After IOI 2015, the 2013 revision of the Syllabus will no longer be used.
