Current Syllabus status

The Syllabus is now an official document related to the IOI. For each IOI, an up-to-date version of the Syllabus is produced by the ISC, as described in the IOI Regulations, Statue 3.13.

During the task selection process, the ISC reviews the Syllabus conformance of all proposals. (However, note that the Syllabus is not a binding set of rules. If sufficient rationale is present, the ISC may decide to accept a task that does not fully conform to the Syllabus.)

Plans for the future:
- provide a list of bibliography covering the Syllabus to help both coaches and contestants

Most of the material in this section comes from an article written by the authors of the original version of the Syllabus. The materials were formatted for easier access.
